What is WhatsApp Web?
WhatsApp Web is an online platform for using your WhatsApp account on your computer. It allows you to chat with people in WhatsApp on your computer, rather than on your phone. WhatsApp Web is an extension of the WhatsApp mobile application.
How to Login and use WhatsApp Web
To use WhatsApp Web, you will need a PC (Personal Computer) with internet and a smartphone from which you want to connect your WhatsApp to WhatsApp Web.
- Then open Web.WhatsApp.com on your PC in any internet browser like Google Chrome as shown below
- You will see this kind of screen on you PC
- Open WhatsApp app in your phone and tap here
- Now Tap on Link Devices
- Tap on ok
- Tap on Link a device
- Hold your phone and scan the QR code shown on your computer
- This will take a few seconds to sync the WhatsApp messages on the web browser
- Now you can see your WhatsApp Chats on your computer screen in WhatsApp Web
How to send or receive Media and Document Files?
After successfully connection of your phone WhatsApp to WhatsApp Web, you can now send and receive messages (just like you do on your phone), make audio and video calls (mic will be required in PC), and share locations and documents (just like you do on your phone).
How to see and Logout Securely from all devices?
After successfully connection of your phone WhatsApp to WhatsApp Web, you have to keep in mind that your WhatsApp should not be accessed by any other person wrongly. To see how many devices are linked with your WhatsApp, you have to do this steps:
- Open your phone WhatsApp and tap here
- Then tap on the Link Devices
- Now you can see here the Device Status wherein it will show you in how many devices you have linked your WhatsApp
- Tap on the linked devices as shown in the screen to logout it
- Tap on Log out
- Ok all have done, now your WhatsApp is logout from your PC
